So, here I am again. I'm still alive, going to start a traineeship soon if all goes well, information management, meaning I'll have a steady income and can finally get a place of my own again after almost 5 months of living with my mom, gods I hated these last months :P
Furthermore I'm sick as a dog atm, throat infection or something nice like that.

On another positive note, I have another girlfriend, yep, taking yet another shot at happiness XD hopefully this one will work out, I long for a long, lasting and happy relationship ^^ Last two attempts failed horribly XD

Other then that, not a lot of new stuff going on :O

Last weekend in Korsakoff I met a girl, and I kinda liked her. Turns out I had already been talking to her a bit online, and we met up again yesterday. I like her this far, and she likes me, so I'm hopeful something might grow out of it :) I know its a bit fast, but I'll take it slowly.
First time in weeks I actually start to feel slightly better :)

Week 1

Well, I've been here for nearly a week, and its not been good this far. My moms intentions are well, buts its already smothering me. I really hope I can afford to get out of here in a few months, or better yet, move into a house with 2 friends in Almere, but time will tell about that one.

This afternoon I'm going to some job agency's to find something to keep me occupied for the coming months, I dont want anything permanent over here since I dont really intend to stay here for long... of course I'll keep looking for a permanent job at the same time around Almere/Amsterdam etc but that could take a while still :) Can take well over a year for people from my field to find something that suits them.

I miss my home in Almere like crazy, but we decided to avoid as much contact as we can the coming months to let things cool down a bit. We didnt have a fight, but it was all just so hard it was impossible to talk to eachother without getting upset.

I'm gonna try and go out a lot the coming time. So if you like metal and going out, lemme know XD

Its been ages since I posted here, but here goes. Apologies in advance, its a REAL EMO POST!

Me and Angelique broke up, and its the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. Throughout all the other bad things in my life (grandmother dying, gareth breakup etc) I've always had someone else to find comfort with. For the first time in 7 years, I am single again, and it hurts so much.

And so, I am moving back in with my mother for the coming months, hopefully to return to Almere in the near future (a few months or so) with a place of my own, or sharing it with 2 friends.

I'm having a real hard time dealing with the breakup, so if I'm a bit emo or react angry, dont take it too hard.

Angelique will always remain very dear to me, I dont want anyone ever saying anything bad about her to me, because that will only make me angry. She is the one I wanted to marry and build my life with, but things rarely turn out the way you plan.

She has moved on, and is seeing someone else now, also making it very hard for me, seeing my pictures replaced by his and stuff like that, but I've got to let go. No matter how hard it is, now matter how many months it takes, I have to. Moving back to Rotterdam is step one.

Let the healing begin.

Whats this entry about? An update on my personal life? No, of course not. Its about transformers the movie :)

It was far from as bad as I expected, but still quite a ways away from as good as it could have been in my opinion. Things that bugged me most were 1: Megatron looked retarded and nothing like the old megatron. 2: Starscream was very underplayed, he almost seemed a loyal servant (with a normal voice) and 3: WHY did they make new transformers who die in 1 minute or so when there were 1000000000000's of existing transformers already there who could have done the same? And my last complaint is the huge amount of cheese, it really started to bug me at some stage when it just didnt get less.
And why did they change so much of the original story? The allspark? WTF? Why make a story thats so retarded? And that they do not know where it came from bugs me even more. You'll be hard pressed to find a person that knows more about transformers then me, having read most of the uk and us comics as well as having seen all the toons (except beastwars and the later cartoon generations such as armada) and its just a waste how they changed so much unneccesarely :S
Ah well... at least the robots looked better then I had expected, the action was good and intense.
Definitly worth watching if anyone hasnt yet!

After more then 5 years I've finally finished my course psychology :D Got myself a nice Master title to boot (mwahaha you shall all call me Master now!). Now to find a decent job instead of the temporary marketing job I have now, and I can be content :)
Its nice to have worked so long for this and finally have it pay off.
I actually have legal rights to teach at a university too :O not that I ever intend to... but one never knows :P Now to have some birthday cake, cuz its also my birthday today!

With 5 cats who all go outside, getting fleas is unavoidable. However the fuckers being immune to almost all flea sprays (20 euro per bottle!), powders and drops is insane >.< We vacuum more then once daily, we spray the cats several times a week and STILL the fleas are everywhere, they're even biting me, and a lot! My anckles are full of bites and I regularly find one of those fuckers on my legs and even my arms, its driving me insane! We're gonna try fleacollars to see if that gives any results, because we're running out of options.

I wonder....

Late last night I returned from graspop, and in one word it was AWESOME :P

Saturday we arrived pretty late into the festival already, which had started on friday, but we couldnt go earlier for many different reasons. Either way, the first band we saw was Bullet for my valentine, which was alright... vocals sucked live, music was decent, but it just didnt impress me. Its kind of a shame, since I really like bullet. The second band we saw was the datsuns, which was alright. I'd never heard of em before and dont expect to see much of them again either :P Next came the first band I really liked, avenged sevenfold. They left quite an impression with solid guitars n drum and a very nice vocal :P
After that came the new york dolls, which really is not for me. Old feminine rockers really arent my thing :P One song I can appreciate, more then one gets on my nerves really fast :) We also saw an ACDC coverband which pwned and Stone sour, which is not really my sorta music save for the song Bother, which is a VERY good song, but Angelique loves them :) We saw some more smaller bands after that that I cant even remember, and we ended the night with GUNS N ROSES! We had to wait for an hour all in all, but damn it was worth it. Axl Rose ROCKS like he did in the past. That voice, so frigging amazing! I loved every damn song they played :P Its no longer guns n roses, but who gives a shit. Its the 'Axl Rose and some other guys who aint bad but who arent Slash so who cares' show now, but that doesnt make it any less! Hearing all those songs again really brought back some memories :P
Sunday we saw Armored Saints, In flames and helloween! Too bad we couldnt stay any longer, since there were a few more bands I'd have loved to see... but oh well, cant have it all :P In flames was probably the best act on sunday in my opinion, they really rocked the crowd too :P Helloween was also really good, but the rain kinda ruined that act for me.

Its nice that after only 2 large festivals I've already seen so many of the bands that I love/like :P But then again, there are still so many I want to see :)

Seen: Korn, Manson, Dropkick murphys, Guns n Roses, In flames, Prodigy, nightwish, epica, green lizard, opeth, bad religion, avenged sevenfold, armored saints, Social distortion, helloween, Ston sour, Bullet for my valentine, ensiferum, and some bands I dont overly care for like alice in chains, devildriver, morbid angel, franz ferdinand, kaiser chiefs, Soulfly, apocalyptica, NY dolls, datsuns and Jon Oliva's pain (fatass on stage)

Still want to see: Bush, Muse, my chemical romance, the used, AFI, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Greenday, Less then jake, HIM, Sum41, flogging molly, Kane, Coldplay, Disturbed, element 80, Finger eleven, hoobastank, iced earth, breaking benjamin, CKY, foo fighters, Hawthorne heights, intwine, life of agony, lost prophets, millencollin, sentenced, system of a down, unearth, yellow card and Fuel and Tonic.

I think that about sums it up :P I know a great deal of these bands will be at lowlands this year (muse, my chemical romance, hawthorne heights, CKY,HIM, Less than jake), but I dont think I can afford going there :S But at least I'm going to flogging molly in juli this year :D

Its been a while since I updated last again. After my grandma passed away I had a few depressed days, but thats all over now :) Christmas was good, the dinner was good, newyears was great (so drunk XD most of us were... or stoned), the Baja weekend was great, in short, I've had a great period with lotsa happy days and very few not so happy days :P Of course, there are always the minor annoyances like being totally broke atm and stuff ;P but next month should solve that :) And I'm happily listening to some new tunes atm... found some new bands I like a lot :D Starting with Celldweller... that guy made quite a few tunes used in movies, so I recognized a lot of his stuff... just never knew it was by him :) (Spiderman2, matrix, blade2, constantine)
Furthermore Bullet for my valentine just rocks. I'm listening to a bit harder stuff again, and they really fit the mood. They're a bit like Atreyu, just a tad heavier me thinks :) And since wolfhowl has been nagging me about them for ages, I tried out shadows fall, they aint bad either :)

Small writing excersize :P Not very entertaining, but based on true events! The main character in this story is me, and the main antecedent actually exists as described in the story.

In the train on the way back from Graywolfs place an asian looking man sat down across from me. He looked somewhere in his early fourties, and somehow rather out of place and confused. I suspected he was an employee from a foreign country, like japan, stationed here in nl recently. He had the appearance of a man who took pride in his appearance, his hair was neatly combed and his clothes were clean.
His lower left cheek had a mole on it.
I noticed it the moment he sat down. Four large black hairs sprouted from its centre. Whenever he moved his head, the hairs would wave in the wind. I estimate the longest of the hairs was about 6cm, the others where somewhat shorter, 4 cm perhaps. I was puzzled, why would a man, who so obviously cared for his appearance, allow these hairs to deface him in such a manner? I became obsessed with the hairs, the question burning on my lips.
Then suddenly I realised I had been staring at the mans cheek for several minutes now. I looked away, pretending I had something in my eye, blinking furiously and rubbing it. The man didnt seem to notice. Relieved I looked back at the mole. The man was not paying attention to me, so I felt safe while I gazed at the mole, its size swelling in my head even tho it didnt physically change. I imagined the man grooming the mole at night, stroking it and feeding it. It simply wasnt possible that he could have a mole with HIAR that size and not know about it. Perhaps he tied the hair into a ponytail for formal occasions? The more I thought about it, the more I looked at it. And suddenly it happened. He moved his head. He looked at me. Our gazes met, and I saw his hand involuntarely go to the mole. I felt my cheeks flush, for I realised that _he knew_. I felt embarassed, for I had stared so long that he felt obliged to look at me. An uncomfortable moment passed, then the train slowed down. We had reached a station. I was safe, for now. I looked outside the window, watching as people entered and left the train. But in reality my mind was racing about what to do. I felt the man still looking at me. Suddenly I had an idea. I pretended to try to fall asleep, leaning forward, my eyes hidden behind my hand. The train started moving again. The asian man seemed intend on revenge however. He started biting his nails. I could hear it. It made a clickety sound everytime he did it. And whenever I looked up, he would smile at me. This was his revenge. I feigned not being bothered by the sound, no longer looking up whenever he made the sound. He scraped his throat, as if to say something, but suddenly his cellphone rang. I could see his hands reaching to his pocket, and he brought out a small japanese looking device, that clicked open into a neat looking cellphone. "Hoi, met Peter" As he spoke the words,a chill ran down my spine. He was dutch. I feigned sleeping even harder, as I listened in on the conversation. He spoke softly, with a hushed voice, and I couldnt make out what it was about. And all the while, I could feel his eyes burning on my hand, the hand shielding my eyes from his. The train slowed down again.
The man hung up, picked up his briefcase and stood up. I removed my hand. We exchanged one last glance, then, with a nod of the head, he tapped his mole and wished me a goodday. He then paced away, fast, as if he was embarassed.
I looked around, surprised. Was this his way of saying I had won? I looked out the window, but I didnt see him. Perhaps he was out of sight already, perhaps he merely moved away from my rudeness.
Two boys sat down where he had been sitting. They had coffee and were reading a book. The real poker it was called. I drowsed off.

I was in the train on the way back from kimba's party, which was fun as usual, when bon jovi came past over my Ipod. I really realised I missed listening to his music, his old stuff that is. Sends shivers down my spine, youth sentiment partially and just because I love the lyrics in so many of his old songs. These days, Something to believe in, My guitar lies bleeding in my arms etc. I'm currently singing along out loud to Always XD Definitely youth sentiment on that one :) I think the songs I like best tho are something to believe in and blaze of glory :) Both songs have special meaning to me, Something to believe in because it made me see there are far more things to believe in then just the Christian beliefs, and that _I_ could decide myself what to believe. It wasnt a 'you have these options for religion' thing anymore, but... I cant explain it. Its a feeling that I choose to follow :P What made sense in my head etc. And Blaze of Glory I liked because its about freedom in a sense almost none of us can achieve :P

I know this post makes very little sense if you arent 'me' ;P Whatever was in those joints last night was strong stuff :O But I just felt like writing something. About religion, Bon Jovi and singing along XD
